E-Bike tour Atlas Mountains

3 day Morocco electric mountain bike tour of the Atlas Mountains, you will ride through the berber villages in the high atlas mountains. You will spend three days exploring the high Atlas Mountains by e-bike. It’s really a lifetime experience.

Atlas Mountain Bike Tour Fancy a peaceful biking in Morocco? travelling by e-bike to discover the green valleys of the High Atlas and one of the most mythical regions of Morocco, this land of contrast-rich heritage will be revealed to you during this cycling journey, a route of a high variety of landscapes both grandiose and unusual.

Experience the thrill of riding along trails, dirt roads, and hidden single-tracks as you explore the remote Berber valleys and picturesque villages.

We cycle through remote Berber villages clinging to the steep sides of the High Atlas mountains, explore the Berber villages and experience some of the fantastic long mountain biking descents offered by the region.A real experience of an ancient and fascinating country and culture! Morocco with his many faces from north to south, west to east, we will discover the wonderful naturel countryside.

Itinerary :

Day 1: Marrakesh – Imlil – Azzaden valley

After breakfast, transfers to Imlil, we leave Imlil riding down through the Imlil valley to Imi’oughelad, then take a dirt road that climbs steadily, zigzagging up to allow us to enjoy a very nice view over the Ait Maizane valley, the neighboring valleys and all the small passes. We continue to the Tacht pass where we will stop for drinks and some nuts, then continue along the Azzaden valley on dirt roads to ld Aissa villages. It is possible to extend this ride if anyone wants to. Dinner & Overnight in guest house. At 1800 meters altitude.

Day 2: Ouirgane – Amizmiz

This is a day of single-track. The Guest house is at nearly 1800 m in altitude and today is the day to ‘cash in’ on the altitude! This path links three or four villages as we traverse from one to the other. There are a couple of little climbs of 3-400m which catapult us into incredibly fast sections.

We stop for lunch in a secluded wooded part of the riverbed where mint tea is waiting for our arrival. After lunch we’re off again.

A short warm up of 2 km and we’re crossing a large dam to find the entrance to yet another incredible ribbon of singletrack to a spectacular gorge. This is truly breathtaking scenery to match some of the best singletrack in the world! From here we have a gentle ride to the gite 10km outside Amizmiz (1005m) this day will take us to Ait Zitoune village where we can enjoy a nice hammam after a long ride.

Day 3: Amizmiz – Marrakesh

This is the last day on the bike and possible the best! Today is another tough great singletrack challenge day with some great climbing and challenges all morning! We will stop in Berber house for a couple of min tea, and then continue our riding to lunch place. After lunch transfers back to Marrakesh.
